Who voiced the K.E. on the Track tag — and where did it come from?

K.E. (Kevin Erondu) was working at McDonald's and uploading twenty beats a month to MySpace when Fast Life Yungstaz bought the “Swag Surfin'” beat for a reported $500 — the 2009 hit that made his name worth announcing.

The “K.E. on the track!” drop rode his 2009–2012 run, most audibly opening Future and T.I.'s “Magic (Remix)”. Who actually recorded the announcement has never been stated on record — presumed self-voiced, but nobody's confirmed it.

A church musician first (drums, keys, organ in gospel choirs), he turned the hit run into Beat Mechanics Entertainment, his own production company — the name-drop tag as literal company branding.
