PRODUCER TAG № 0009
LONDON ON DA TRACK PRODUCER TAG
“We got London on da Track”
Who voiced the London on da Track tag — and where did it come from?
The phrase is voiced by Skooly of Atlanta group Rich Kidz — though because it rode so many Young Thug records, listeners routinely assume Thug voiced it. He didn't. London told The FADER in 2014: “The drop is my boy Skooly from the Rich Kids… I'm going to keep him on there forever.”
The tag became a seal of quality across wildly different lanes: Rich Gang's “Lifestyle”, Saweetie's “My Type”, and Ariana Grande's #1 “Positions” all open under the same five words.
Few tags have crossed from trap into pure pop this cleanly — proof that a producer tag, done right, is a brand that travels further than any single genre.
What songs use the London on da Track tag?
